e-TECH 2.0 or any of its many other derivitive names, (etech, e-tech, e-TECH, etc) is an offshoot of the web-based explosion of ideas known as Web 2.0. There can be lots of contradiction of what words mean in the Internet world, e-Learning, e-Commerce, distance learning, web-based learning/training etc. However we need to nail down some fundamentals in order to understand terms in the way they were meant.

e-TECH 2.0 : is basically a term relating to all the items in Learning 2.0 and Web 2.0, however approaching it from an Information Technology bent. Where Web 2.0 relates to a wide number of technologies surrounding the idea and concepts of collaborative intellect, and Learning (also known as eLearning 2.0)
